PIZZOLANTE renders an integral service to the USERS of its Web page and, since information is a fundamental element for its operations, maintaining the privacy of the information provided is one of its priorities.

In this regard, PIZZOLANTE shall use its best efforts to attain this purpose. However, this cannot be achieved if the USER does not provide a certain kind of fundamental personal information that is necessary to operate the service, and in many cases to supply information to third parties, when this is allowed and necessary.

Due to the previously stated, PIZZOLANTE has designed and made available to the USERS of its Web page this Privacy Policy or Statement for the purposes of safeguarding their information, showing its commitment to maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of the personal information provided, and setting the manners and situations in which the USER may use said information or limit the use thereof, all in accordance with the provisions of Article 37 (Privacy and Confidentiality) of Chapter V (Protection in Electronic Trade), of the LPCU. Through this informative statement, PIZZOLANTE intends to advise the USERS of its Web page, among other things, of the following:

a) What information is obtained by PIZZOLANTE and the follow-up it makes regarding said information.

c) What are the USER’s options to access, modify and/or delete said information.

PIZZOLANTE expressly declares, for all the purposes of Article 38 of the LPCU that the information that USERS’ or consumers’ supply is not a part of the business model developed by PIZZOLANTE. Said information is obtained only for the purposes set forth in the Contracts entered into with the clients, as the case may be, to improve their management and for other statistical and monitoring purposes.

a) What information does PIZZOLANTE obtain and how does it follow-up on said information: PIZZOLANTE obtains information from its users through various methods: at the time of registering and filling out the relevant forms, through the so-called “cookies” technology, and when the USER provides information through various questionnaires, forms or windows available on this Web page. During the registration process, and during the transit through its Web site, PIZZOLANTE may ask the user whether or not it wishes to receive or not correspondence from PIZZOLANTE or third parties to whom it may send this information, if applicable. Furthermore, the e-mails that the USER will receive from PIZZOLANTE or third parties, will have the option of being removed from the list of recipients of said correspondence.

When the USER sends information to PIZZOLANTE, the same is stored to be reviewed, analyzed and recovered afterwards. The information obtained from the USER through the “cookies” and any other means referred to, is used as demographic information about PIZZOLANTE’s audience in order to improve its services. The USER understands and accepts that it may willingly setup its browser for not accepting “cookies”, and thus it is fully responsible for accepting said files on its machine. The information delivered by the user enables PIZZOLANTE to advise the USER regarding updates or new services that PIZZOLANTE, its subsidiaries or third parties may have available, and which it deems may be interesting for him/her.

Among the personal information that PIZZOLANTE may gather, in addition to the information supplied by the USER itself, is the following: IP address; date and hour of the request; page visited before; total bytes transmitted and received; time consumed; protocol and status of protocol, page visited, and any other information on the computer used by the USER to navigate, such as browser’s data, monitor resolution, Java or JavaScript version, etc.

PIZZOLANTE may share statistic information (in no event personal) with its advertisers, to achieve a better understanding of the services offered to the public and be able to monitor the public’s behavior towards such advertisements.

The USER guarantees that the Personal Data supplied to PIZZOLANTE is true and is responsible for communicating any change therein.

b) What does PIZZOLANTE do with the information obtained from its Web page: PIZZOLANTE undertakes not to share with third parties the personal information provided by the USER without the latter’s prior consent. The foregoing applies to any type of information, including any of the aspects mentioned in the preceding paragraph.

PIZZOLANTE undertakes to perform this obligation, except in the following cases:

1) When the USER has given its express consent, under any manner, including the USER’s registration, forms, etc.

2) Whenever it is necessary, in order to protect the registered USERS from a non-authorized use, including any attempt by an infringing user to cause damage or interrupting the normal use of PIZZOLANTE’s services and that is deemed to be an abnormal use of such services.

3) Specifically, when PIZZOLANTE needs to provide information to consulting companies that perform works for following-up on alleged breaches of PIZZOLANTE’s policies and/or property, such as regarding the violation of copyrights and similar rights.

5) Whenever PIZZOLANTE’s opinion deems necessary to share information with companies that perform joint tasks with PIZZOLANTE (such as search engines), which will result in a better service to the user.

c) What are the USER’s options to access, modify and/or delete said information: The USER has the ability to decide whether or not it supplies the information requested by PIZZOLANTE, either by giving notice of its wish through the available e-mail addresses, or by setting up its browser to receive or not the cookies, understanding that it may restrict the use of certain services on this Web page.

The registered USERS will have access at all times to their registration information, in order to determine the accuracy of such information and make the changes it deems appropriate, or limit the use thereof by PIZZOLANTE according to the provisions of Article 38 of the LPCU, being able to exercise said rights through any of the means available at WWW.PIZZOLANTE.COM.VE, or through the company’s phone and/or fax numbers available on its Web page.

PIZZOLANTE reserves the right to modify its policy or privacy statement whenever it deems appropriate. If the USER continues using this Web page even after such modifications are in place, this implies its acceptance of the changes, without being entitled to make any claim in this regard.
