Thony Da Silva has over 15 years of experience in the area of communications and Corporate Affairs; management of crisis situations; business and product development, and public relations. In addition to 20 years of experience in the areas of audiovisual arts and creative development.
Since 2000 he works as Business Strategy Director, responsible for the definition of strategies and business plan of the firm; the design of the value proposal to the national and international market; consultancy projects in Strategic Communications, corporate image, and reputation management to strategic clients in national and international markets; the creation, development, and management of projects of high complexity and strategic sessions; direction of the consultancy team and development of new methodologies to increase organizational competence, and the development of policies and plans of internal and external communication for businesses; development of communicational management systems for crisis and contingencies, and Coaching in communication management and training in institutional public speaking for training corporate spokes-people before media and situations of communication towards diverse audiences.

During his professional career, Thony Da Silva has received several national and international awards including the "Gold Quill Award 2000" mention of excellence from the "International Association of Business Communicators" (IABC) with headquarters in San Francisco, California; as well as runner-up on two occasions in the New York Festival in the category of Film & Video (2000), New York, USA. Additionally in 2001 he was recognized by the Gerente Magazine as one of the 100 managers of the year.
In the academic field, Da Silva was assistant professor of the class "Direction and Cinema Production" (Universidad Católica Andrés Bello - UCAB) and has been a guest lecturer at numerous seminars and conferences- on both national and international scale. He has also been an invited Professor at Monteávila University (UMA), Universidad Metropolitana (UNIMET), in addition to prestigious organizations such as the Center for the Dissemination of Economic Knowledge (CEDICE) and the Institute of Higher Studies of Administration (IESA). Thony Da Silva has also participated in Ibero-American Congresses, conferences and seminars supported by institutions such as the Universidad de Medellín, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, Universidad del Zulia, among others.
In addition, Thony Da Silva has designed, conceptualized, and taught workshops in communication and coaching for companies located in the United States, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Panama, Ecuador, Trinidad and Tobago, Colombia, England, Spain, Belgium, and Croatia.
He has fulfilled specialization courses at IESA as well, in the areas of audiovisual arts, journalism, commercial and institutional public speaking (Certificate MTC Nº 21422).
Moreover, Da Silva has collaborated with different non-governmental organizations, for instance: Centro para la Divulgación del Conocimiento Económico (CEDICE); Asociación Civil Queremos Elegir; Escuela de Vecinos de Venezuela: Dividendo Voluntario para la Comunidad; Fundación Tierra Viva, as well as other non-profit educational institutions. Additionally, he is member of the Board of Directors for the foundation Momento de la Gente para la Promoción de la Democracia, and the Fundación Tierra Viva for sustainable development.
